Cancer Awareness and Screening Camp Held in Bantwal by The Jewels Group

The Jewels Group, in partnership with the parish council, health commission, youth commission, and Indian Catholic Youth Movement of Our Lady of Loretto Church, along with Father Muller Medical College Hospital, the Indian Cancer Society, and the Indian Red Cross, organized a cancer awareness, screening, and blood donation camp on August 25.

According to a report in Daijiworld, the event took place at Loretto CBSE English Medium School in Bantwal.

The report added that this marks the 11th camp organized by The Jewels Group in the Mangaluru region over the past two years. 

The event saw a significant turnout, with 197 individuals undergoing cancer screenings, including 125 women.

Per the report, the camp aimed to raise awareness about cancer and provide free screenings, with follow-up care for those identified as at risk.
