The largest lab-grown diamond in India, a 20.06-carat emerald-cut gem with F color and VS1 clarity, has been sold by the Krishniah Chetty Group of Jewellers, based in Bengaluru.
Per a report by NDTV, this diamond, which was sold through the group’s new sub-brand crash.club, marks a significant achievement in the lab-grown diamond industry.
Lab-grown diamonds are created in laboratories under conditions that mimic the natural diamond formation process. These diamonds possess the same physical, chemical, and optical properties as natural diamonds, offering a sustainable and innovative alternative without sacrificing quality.
According to an official statement, the sale of this gem highlights crash.club as a pioneer in the expanding market for lab-grown diamonds. The Krishniah Chetty Group of Jewellers, with a 155-year history, has also served as jewellers to HH Krishnarajendra Wodeyar and other royal families.
The group’s latest venture into lab-grown diamonds through crash.club underscores its commitment to sustainability and modern innovation in the jewelry industry.
