The Sitapura Gems and Jewellery Industry Association (SGJIA) led a tree plantation drive at the Jaipur Exhibition & Convention Centre (JECC) on July 10, 2024.
The event aimed at promoting environmental sustainability and saw participation from key industry leaders.
Notable figures such as Nirmal Bardiya, Regional Chairman of the Rajasthan Gem & Jewellery Export Promotion Council (GJEPC); Pramod Agarwal, Chairman of the National Gem & Jewellery Council of India (NGJCI); Arvind Gupta, President of SGJIA; and Alok Sonkhia, President of the Jewellers Association Jaipur, were present at the event.
Participants planted a variety of saplings, highlighting the industry’s commitment to eco-friendly practices and the enhancement of the local ecosystem. This initiative underscores the importance of sustainable efforts within Jaipur’s jewellery sector.
